Samsung Electronics has unveiled the high-performance SSD ‘990 PRO’ optimized for large-capacity graphic tasks such as gaming.
Samsung Electronics is equipped with the latest V-NAND technology and a newly designed controller to realize the industry’s highest level of performance. Random write speed is improved by 55% and random read speed by 40% compared to existing products.
The continuous read and continuous write performance of ‘990 PRO’ is up to 7,450MB/s and 6,900MB/s, respectively, and the random read and random write is up to 1,400K IOPS and 1,550K IOPS, respectively.
