Considering the scale of overseas distribution of suppliers, Samsung Electronics conducted real-time video training for suppliers in four regions: Vietnam, India, China, and Thailand.

In this training, Samsung Electronics will provide ▲Global product chemical substance control trends ▲Product and parts chemical substance management standards ▲Samsung Electronics’ eco-partner certification system ▲Chemical substance management methods and information on partner companies’ parts. In particular, Samsung Electronics provided lecture materials in the local language and provided training in the local language to enhance the understanding of the training contents, and provided practical guides to inquiries experienced in the field through real-time Q&A.

To this end, Samsung Electronics has operated an in-house instructor training program for product environment managers at overseas subsidiaries in four regions for the past two months.

Through video training and face-to-face training at the headquarters, we have been preparing for training in consideration of local sites, such as rehearsing video training and writing training materials in the local language.

Samsung Electronics plans to continuously develop and operate various educational programs to support ESG management of its suppliers through relevant departments such as the Win-Win Cooperation Center and Global CS Center.
